V1:
God of all comfort, You laid all comfort down
Emptied Your power, poured Your power out
You took up our flesh, more than glory's disguise
You unveiled heaven, the hour You bled and died
C:
O Great King, O Redeemer
Your comfort proves all others chains
It was for freedom that You freed us
that we'd live as Love's bold slaves
V2:
God of the heavens, You moved into our town
took up our curses to bear as Your renown
Your heart is a scandal, love beyond belief
And You'll flood this world, as waters cover the seas
V3:
King of all wisdom, You've made us all fools
gifting salvation through Love over rules
You took our chorus, "I am my own"
And gave us a new song, "Lord, You are my home."
Outro:
As You are, may we be
Make Your good work complete
By Your Spirit we sing Amen
Your kingdom come without end

Memories - ft. Lee Green

VERSE I
I cant front on how my mother was lovin’ her seed/
Cuffing her sleeves, washing dishes, me hugging her knees/
Used to go to the Commissary for that Government cheese/
Feed the ducks while my mother would read/
Once upon a time married and then every other would leave/
Until she met my smooth step dad but he would cheat/
She had mad wounds, the way the world cut her was deep/
yo... My babysitter back then was the drama type/
Vaseline on her face so I could watch her fight/
Best friends dad killed his neighbor, what a shocker right?/
I go to sleep while I hear gun shots at night/
I wanted to play in my friends spot but he wouldn't let me/
His mother's crack addicted, now you can see it affect him/
I had a white friend the homies , the Homies they did not accept him/
At 12 kids cut soap and called em crack pieces/
No father figure so we had to let this rap teach us/
VERSE II
Memories of life far from the Shepherds way/
In my expression see my pain like a lepers face/
Freestylin' in the Taurus, Every breath was waste/
Lying on ourselves so that self could elevate/
A couple thugs yeah, but every body else was fake/
Fantasizing Emcees have a better fate/
Hot box the car and spit is how we'd celebrate/
In retrospect its like we watched our lips defecate/
Putting poison in the air like some pepper spray/
Jay had a plan and thought that he would set it straight/
Yo when we blow...right but never took the steps of faith/
Hip hop was dope, dubbing on cassette tape/
It told us all we were stars and made our heads inflate/
The voice of the poor it now only echoes hate/
To be hot you gotta out curse your fellow race/
Thinking 'bout its like I waste my time to meditate/
VERSE III
What if you could play Christmas Carol on your Memories/
visit yourself from the past when you fell asleep/
Would you go back and make peace witcha enemies/
Tell yourself put down the guns drugs or Hennessy/
Or stop a rape or abortion that upset you deep/
What if you changed everything but eventually/
You found your heart was born sick in need of remedy/
And everything you changed was a waste of energy/
Cause you awoke with all the changes still in misery/
What if the reason babies cry when they are born because the womb was warm/
But now they're gonna die in cold war/
What if every purpose was lost like giving birth to a corpse/
If evolutionists were right into the dirt we dissolve/
As man works to evolve to leave the earth for the Stars/
That's why our stupid cold hearts must turn to the cross/
And find a perfect man suffering the curse of us all/
Cause memories can't be countered by the works of the law/
Every woman besides Mary gave birth to a flaw/
So we must be new creations that came from The Creator/
With our memories washed in The Blood of The Savior/
VERSE IV
Every time that the Father called Yeshuah would run/
His memories were of obedience, the truest of Sons/
He agonizes in the Garden for what He knew was to come/
Separation from His greatest love, His union was done/
The world not only hates His Father, but they do it for fun/
Yet He's about to give his union so reunion can come/
He sweats and prays as drops of blood fall to the ground/
His chest in pain feeling like his hearts gonna drown/
Distressed but tamed about to take the mocks of His town/
But what they can't see is every single wall coming down/
Walls of hate, barriers of race, the hinderance of Grace/
Roadblocks of faith, every closing gate/Social cliques displaced/
The economic status of proud aristocrats debased/
Every fence and fortification falling flat at His Face/
Prosperous and poor praise His power from the same place/
a purified people participating in His embrace/
Cause His preeminence has perfectly made peace our base/
Unified in His blood and removed from disgrace/
Now we can live in Jesus as if our memory was erased/
